Hoarders Woman Stores 100 Dead Cats in Her Refrigerator

If you love animals, you will be jealous of this woman. Then again, if you hate animals, you will probably want to take some notes, too.

According to TODAY, the cat obsessed hoarder’s name was Terry. As the episode started, she explained what inspired her fascination with cats by saying:

“I really feel like the reason I collect cats is that I have this feeling in me that I’m helping save something.

Terry original plan was to have all of the dead cats cremated, but her finances didn’t allow her to do that. Since she couldn’t cremate the cats,  she tried to save them all in the refrigerator. Unfortunately, the appliance was not up to the task of preserving the dead cats.  In fact, the Hoarders crew found out that many of the cats had liquefied.

Is this even considered hoarding when it gets this bad? Hoarding seems like more of an attachment issue, so this being ‘hoarding’ would be like a brain anurism being caused by a cold.

This is indicative of a deep psychological trauma that needs immediate attention, but how do you even begin? Is there even a profession that specializes in the removal of liquid cat? Or even furniture that has been stained with decomposed animals? Looks like that fridge will end up on craigslist somewhere between a man begging for a handjob and a half-price new television with the serial number scratched out.
